Name: On-Yu Choy.
Died: June 25, 2014.

With his mother gone to the Chinese mainland on a business trip, On-yu’s father killed him by stabbing him more than 100 times with a pair of kitchen knives. The killer reasoned that “if he is gone, the whole family will have peace”.
On-yu had a ten-year-old brother, who was not home at the time and was not hurt.
The killer pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to four years in prison.
