Six-year-old London McCabe liked to play with his iPad. A blogger writes: “London liked big hats. He liked fuzzy stuffed animals. He made a wish on his cupcake for his sixth birthday.” His parents had recently reunited after a separation and he was very happy to see them back together.

London’s mother, who had been asking for money over the Internet for London’s autism and her husband’s MS, took London to the Yaquina Bay bridge, where she threw him off. London fell 133 feet into the frigid water.

London’s mother then called the police to confess. His body was found hours later. She was convicted of murder and sentenced to 25 years to life.
