Died: December 23, 2014.
Age at death: 9.
Cause of death: Homicide (Drowned).
Location: Lincoln, England, UK.

Details:
As a baby, Alex loved lights, especially Christmas lights; as a boy, he loved trains and wind turbines. He and his family used to take trips to local stations to watch the trains. An inquisitive boy, he once asked his doctor, “Why can’t humans be powered by electricity?” On a school trip to a power station, he asked such insightful questions that his teachers were amazed. He wanted to be a train driver, so that he could “whiz all over the country”.

Alex hated water, hated getting his face wet, and would only bathe while standing. His mother had left him with his grandfather while she went to buy Christmas dinner.

Alex’s grandfather put him in the bathtub and held him underwater until he drowned.
