One night when Tony was fifteen years old, Tony’s mother and father argued over whether to put him in residential care. As she often did after arguments, Tony’s mother took him and left the home to stay in a hotel. There, she strangled him.
She pled guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 years. As she had already spent four years in jail before she was sentenced, she spent two more years in prison, and then was released.
