Aiden lived with his mother and her boyfriend. His mother’s boyfriend beat him to death and his mother did not attempt to help him.
Aiden died of a skull fracture with multiple injuries on his body, a victim of fatal child abuse.
Aiden’s community held a vigil for him.
Aiden’s killer pleaded no contest to child abuse and was sentenced to 24 years. His mother was charged with failure to protect him, but died before she could be brought to trial.
